This Friday, 14 April 2023 Multnomah Chapter will be holding the third York Rite Degree (Most Excellent Master) at the Scottish Rite Center in Salem.
Cast Members and you should know who you are will meet a 6:50 pm to be ready to open lodge at 7 pm. Chapter High Priest (PGM) Myles McMillan will open lodge at or before 7 pm to do business and prepare for the Degree. At or before 7:30 six to eight candidates will be on standby to start the degree. The degree takes a while to complete and is one step closer to the Royal Arch degree scheduled but not yet published. On Friday we will announce it and the Council degree dates.
I understand that each of you have many ways you like to be contacted. I have made every effort to keep everyone in the loop, and I hope you all have marked your calendar for this degree. Each of you who I added to this email are and will be getting an e-mail as a courtesy even though you may not be in our Chapter.
I still need some help with the cast, but all the main roles are filled. If someone drops out and you can make it you may be able to help. Each degree takes a bit more to do, as we move closer to the Last and Best one “ The Order of the Temple”.
I extend a hardy welcome and my sincere thanks to those who are helping who are not members of Multnomah Chapter # 1, and to the candidates who are attending form other Chapters.
Grant Sharp started our candidates journey a few months ago. In June we are hoping to host the Royal Arch and the two Council degrees. We have 28 new Royal Arch masons hoping to finish this year. We are making every effort to do so by January 2024 for this class.
